This OSHAWARDS course is open to anyone who needs to gain a sound understanding of the principles of environmental management, including those who wish to advance their career.

The OSHAWARDS Environmental Management Certificate is for all companies and organizations who understand the importance of implementing effective environmental management systems.

There is no better training for equipping employees and managers with the principles of managing environmental risks.

Assessment/Testing

At the end of each module, you are given a 10 question module quiz. Score at least 70% on each module quiz before moving forward. You have three attempts to pass each module quiz. Failure to successfully pass the third quiz results in being locked out of the course.

After completing the modules, you must pass a final exam to receive full credit for the course. The final exam is 20 questions long and tests your knowledge of the information covered throughout the course. To pass, you need at least a score of at least 70%. You get three opportunities to pass the final exam. If you do not pass it after the third try, you are locked out of this course and cannot complete your outreach training in an online format.

Assessment results

All results for assessments should be received within 50 working days from the date of the examination or submission of the practical assessment. The specific date is written on your examination entry confirmation

Assessment format

The qualification is broken down into two units, which are assessed in the following ways:

Unit 1

Environmental management

Examination (to be downloaded, completed, and submitted in 24 hours)

Learners will be required to review a real-life scenario and answer theoretical and practical questions on environmental management.

Unit 2

Assessing environmental aspects and associated impacts

Practical Assessment

Learners will be required to assess environmental aspects and impacts in their chosen workplace.

 

Both assessments will be marked by OSHAWARDS.
