Pre-requisites/who should take the course:

×          There are no entry requirements for this qualification, but’ it is recommended that learners should already have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues, and many will have gained another qualification. 

×          It is also important that learners have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand     and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.

×          The course features lectures, tutorials and practical training, including a-day simulation of a transport accident investigation. The theory is brought to life through case study investigations and hands-on exercises. All delegates will complete a series of assessment tasks throughout the course and receive feedback.

Assessment Methodology:

 

×          This course has two assessments:

×          At the end of the course, there will be an online/written assessment, which you will need to pass to complete the course.

×          Answers are marked instantly and automatically, allowing you to know straight away whether you have passed if computed access assessment will be taken/as soon if written will be taken.

×          If you haven’t, there’s no limit on the number of times you can take the final exam.

×          The practical/case study which based on size of group of trainees will be taken.

×          All this is included in the one-time fee you paid for the course itself.

×          Accident investigators are properly trained on techniques and procedures.

×          Assign to prepare the investigation report, and address surface causes and root causes of accidents.

×          Trainers will assess the accident investigation report makes recommendations to correct hazardous conditions and unsafe work practices, and improve underlying SMS weaknesses.

×          The purpose of the accident investigation is to determine the facts, not the blame
